10 Tips to Bridal Beauty Bliss

  1. If you decide to change your hair color, do so at least three months prior to your wedding date Therefore you will have time to get adjusted to your new colored tresses or you will have time to get the color corrected if you don’t like it. This will help to keep stress levels at a minimum as you get closer to your big day.

  2. Be certain to schedule a consultation or trial with your beauty professional at least two months prior to your wedding day. Hire a professional that you are comfortable with and can present themselves in a professional manner, after all this is one of the most important days of your life and you deserve the very best

  3. Be prepared for your trial. If at all possible bring in a picture of your dress, Bring in your veil, and pictures of your hair style inspiration and makeup applications that you like. A knowledgeable hairstylist and makeup artist should be able to recommend flattering hairstyles and makeup based off of your consultation process.

  4. If you plan to have a facial service done, do so at least two weeks prior to the date of your wedding. This will help in the case that you have an allergic reaction or breakout from your facial, as a lot of clients do; your skin should be cleared up by your big day.

  5. Do choose gowns that are flattering to your body type. The goal is to create a balanced look. For example: if you have a heavy bust, selecting a gown with a v-neckline or sweetheart neckline will give the illusion of balance. The key is to select your best assets and accentuate them.

  6. Keep skin tones in mind when selecting the color of your gown. There are tons of tones and shades in the fashion world , examine your gown in natural lighting. The tone that’s perfect for you should make you look radiant when you do your mirror check.

  7. Avoid waxing anything on your face the day of the wedding, everyone turns pink or red after having hair ripped from their face with hot wax. The day before is fine. The day of, not so good of an idea. Razor if you must.

  8. If you are having on site services provided for hair and makeup for yourself along with bridal party members, Have everyone schedule staggering appointments with the hair stylist and makeup artist to keep services flowing.

  9. After a wild night out with the girls, for puffy eyes place cool pre steeped green tea bags over closed eyelids for about 10-15 minutes to reduce puffiness
